July 11 is the last payment date for the Child Care Counts,

Childcare Counts is the program that allowed family child care providers to remain open and encourage to get certified/licensed and increased group center teachers from $10.66 an hour to $13.66 while stabilizing tuition. Without state investment to replace these funds approximately 25% of child care businesses will close (more in rural areas where the need is already dire), tuition will increase by $29 or more (many are reporting $30-50 a week increases) in order to maintain the paltry wages. We are meeting to demand $480 million in state investment. Press conference at 9:30 am.
