What are the Fair Maps Community Hearings?
Activists across the state are educating the public and looking for input on an Independent Redistricting Commission (IRC) for drawing Wisconsin legislative voting districts in the future. Proposal language for an IRC has been drafted and multiple nonpartisan organizations are working together to gather public feedback.
Some of those organizations include: League of Women Voters of Wisconsin, Fair Maps Coalition and Wisconsin Democracy Campaign.
