The Oregon Area Progressives invite you to the October 2nd Open Mic to hear from JOHN NICHOLS.  John is Executive Editor of The Nation magazine, Associate Editor of The Capital Times, and author of numerous books, including It’s Okay to be Angry about Capitalism, which he co-wrote with Bernie Sanders. 

John Nichols’s recent articles include Mike Johnson is the Most Dangerous House Speaker in American History (9/21/2026, The Nation) Bruce Springsteen is Bringing the Cavalry (2/20/2026, The Nation), Ron Johnson v. the First Amendment (2/15/2026, The Cap Times), and Jesse Jackson Gave Peace a Chance (2/17/2026, The Nation).
