Taking back the legislature is absolutely critical to progress on a whole range of issues from education and sand mining to the environment, healthcare, women's reproductive rights and jobs.
Oregon Area Progressives and representatives from local and statewide progressive organizations will be meeting with members of the Assembly Democratic caucus to discuss linking progressives with grassroots groups in targeted Assembly Districts where there are real opportunities to pick up some seats and change the composition of the Wisconsin Legislature.
Since there are a number of groups that are gearing up for the 2014 elections we thought there would be some value in sharing information about what various progressive groups are planning and identify who is on the ground and working in some of the targeted districts to facilitate linking up with progressives in these areas.
