Next Open Mic: Thursday, October 3, 2013 6-8:00 PM at the Firefly Coffee House

We will have two important discussions this month:

Peter Anderson, from 350.org will be  presenting on the impact of global warming and climate change and

Deforest Area Progressives will be making a presentation on the impact of Sand Mining. they will show the film "Frac Sand Land" and talk about the effects of frac sand mining on Wisconsin.

Also, you can hear "The Bathtub Mothers" they strip away excess until only bare essentials remain. The result is soulful and haunting “folk-rock-blues with bite” that bears little resemblance to bluegrass groups with similar instrumentation.
